About Us

Tumalo Garden Market | Earth's Art

Sharing our passion with the community.

Tumalo Garden Market is a full service retail garden center located off Highway 20 in beautiful Tumalo, Oregon, located near Bend. Specializing in perennials, annuals, trees and shrubs specifically suited to our growing area, we take pride in having the newest varieties as well as a wide selection of everyone’s favorites available each season. Our promise is to help you find success in your gardening, and to be a good citizen and neighbor to the Tumalo and Central Oregon community.

In 2008, Mike Ludeman had the vision to create a special and very different kind of nursery, a destination and ‘an experience’ situated just 2 minutes from Bend off Hwy 20, in Tumalo, Oregon.

Michael decided to take something he loves – his passion for plants and outdoor living – and share it with the community, by creating Tumalo Garden Market. He began with just bare ground, and created an incredible ‘backyard experience’, where around every corner there is something new; a stream, a coy pond, stunning ceramic fountains and pottery, a brick pizza oven, a custom greenhouse, even a bird aviary in this peaceful, nourishing, outdoor living space. The plants you’ll see in our 10,000 square feet of greenhouse space are not what you will find elsewhere – we grow a wide variety of unique and hardy perennials, vegetables, and bare root plants. Come out to the nursery and take your time exploring it all. We hope you stay awhile, and love with it as much as we do!

Meet the team.
